Country security, low crime rate, weather and health conditions are some of the reasons why Portugal was ranked the best country in the World for travel and remote work.

The survey was carried out by the travel search engine ‘momondo‘ and Portugal received the maximum score of 100 points based on the six categories that served as classification criteria: climate, social life, crime rate, the relatively affordable cost of living, and the country’s safety and health conditions.

Portugal has many digital nomads nowadays who are in remote working and choose to live in the country due to its conditions and lifestyle.

Besides, it is a place where everyone can communicate easily in English.
