The American company, Broadvoice, bought GoContact, a Spin-off from the Portuguese Wavecom company. The deal was made for 21 million euros.
GoContact is a contact center-as-a-service (CCaaS) provider with sales and service operations in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Angola and Colombia. GoContact’s cloud-native CCaaS platform includes integrated omnichannel and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
Broadvoice intention is now to expand de company’s business in the U.S. and to many other global markets like Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America.
The Portuguese Wavecom has announced that GoContact was “sold for record values in Europe” and that they now aim to promote other companies that stand out for their technological resourcefulness.
“GoContact has an extraordinary growth story thanks to its powerful cloud-native platform, market position in the fast-growing business process outsourcing (BPO) vertical, and extraordinary team of professionals on the ground in three continents” said the Broadvoice CEO, Jim Murphy.
