Portuguese companies will be able to pay VAT and Social Security up to six installments without interest. Income from catering and trade will be supported.
Portuguese companies will be able to pay November quarterly VAT in three or six interest-free installments. Quarterly VAT can also be paid until November 30, said the prime minister this Saturday, postponing the deadline by five days compared to the previous date of November 25.
Social Security contributions for the months of November and December will also be able to be paid in three or six interest-free installments.
Next week, measures to support trade rents will also be announced to guarantee additional support to all sectors, particularly catering and trade, which are being “hit hard by this crisis”. The restoration support measures already foreseen due to the new restrictions will be maintained.
The minister also signaled the Apoiar.pt program, already approved, to support companies in the amount of 1.550 million, 750 million euros in non-refundable funds, plus 160 million euros in non-refundable funds for the conversion of credit lines.
