Portugal was classified as the 2nd healthiest place to live in the world.
According to the new study «The healthiest places to live» Portugal scored as the second healthiest in the world. Money.co.uk, a credit broker for consumer credit products, has put together a list of the 20 healthiest places to live in the world. The report is based on life expectancy, the cost to be healthy, air pollution, obesity rates, safety and sunlight hours.
Although it may seem contradictory to see Portugal scoring second in this recently released ranking of The Healthiest Places to live in these pandemic times, in normal circumstances the country is definitely a good and healthy place to live (due to the sun, food, health system and other factors).
Fortunately, the country has made a strong comeback in the past 4 weeks also in reducing the number of Covid infected people. It is the fastest recovery in Europe and numbers are at October ’20 levels.
It’s important to mention that two of portuguese cities (Lisbon and Porto) were included in the list of te 20 healthiest cities to live in the world.
