Portugal is the first European country to receive the “Safe Travels” Seal.

The tourism sector in Portugal stands out once again. Rather unscathed by the coronavirus epidemic, Portugal is indeed the first European country to receive the “Safe Travels” prize awarded by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). This award allows Portugal to be recognized as a safe health and safety destination in the post-covid19 world.

This label aims to recognize destinations that respect the health and hygiene protocols aligned with the safe travel protocols issued by the WTTC, helping above all to inspire confidence in consumers, so that they feel they can travel safely as soon as the restrictions are lifted.
