The internationalisation campaign “Portuguese Jewellery à La Carte” is presenting national work at international fairs in Paris, Madrid, Hong Kong and Vizenza.

Promoted by AORP, the Portuguese Jewellery, Watch Jewellery and Goldsmiths Associations, this roadshow through the main fairs aims to boost exports.

“The process of the internationalisation of Portuguese jewellery is recent, but its growth has been fast. In the past two years alone export turnover has increased 53% worth around €100 million in 2017.”, states Fátima Santos, General Secretary of AORP.

The goal is to grow to €150 million by 2020 and the presence at international fairs remains the main entry port to overseas markets.

The last semester of 2018 marks the beginning of the roadshow that started last June in New York. Next stops are Paris and Madrid, #2 and #1 destinations for Portuguese Jewellery.
