The “Program for Supporting More Sustainable Buildings” has already reached one million euros in payments. This amount corresponds to 521 applications validated by the evaluation committee, with an average value of the incentive attributed per application of 1.900 euros.

Since September 7, the date on which applications were opened, the Support Program for More Sustainable Buildings, operated by the Environmental Fund and with the technical support of the Agency for Energy, (ADENE) has already registered 2.961 submitted forms, and 1.004 were evaluated.

Among the orders, there is a preference for installing photovoltaic panels (50%), heat pumps and solar panels (38%), followed by efficient windows (10%).

The contribution rate for interventions is 70%, up to the limit value established for each type of project. Each candidate is limited to a maximum total incentive of 15 thousand euros, with the maximum limit per single-family building or autonomous fraction of 7.500 euros.

The program is aimed at natural persons who own fractions or housing buildings, built until the end of 2006, supporting measures and interventions that promote rehabilitation, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, water efficiency and circular economy in buildings.

With an allocation of 4,5 million euros for 2020 and 2021, this project provides for incentives to eligible applications in order of submission, after checking the compliance of the eligibility criteria.
