Despite the publication of the first decrees related to this mechanism, it is foreseeable that only during the second semester of 2022 will it be possible to complete the entire legal order that will enable, in particular, the commissioning of the various Operational Programs which can then launch the new calls for the Portugal 2030 framework.
The Portugal 2030 Strategy provides guidance for the planning of public policies to promote Portugal’s economic and social development. It also guides the design of instruments to support economic and social development, especially those financed by European funds, such as the Recovery and Resilience Plan, the Partnership Agreement, the Operational Programmes (OP) included therein and the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy, to be implemented in the 2021-2027 programming cycle.
